January 14, 2009 To our valued colleagues, customers and friends, Air Methods has announced that the LifeNet base located in Olathe, KS and the MedFlight base located in Parsons, KS will be closing. Air Methods is planning to partner personnel and assets from each base location and will open a new base to be located in Nevada, MO which will begin operations in mid-February. LifeNet bases located in St. Joseph, MO, Omaha, NE and Norfolk, NE will continue operations without change. Please note that operations at the Olathe base will continue without change and a last day of service will be announced at a later date so that there is no question as to the availability of this aircraft to our current customers. The LifeNet base located in Olathe has had the privilege of serving the Kansas City metro area and surrounding communities since 1996. We have enjoyed working with many outstanding agencies and individuals – please accept our thanks for your support and we hope to have the opportunity to work with you again.
